San Mateo County Hospitals include 3 major hospitals, each providing outpatient and inpatient services to 3,600-200,000 patients each year. The hospitals specialize in many areas ranging from psychiatry to emergency care.

The San Mateo Medical Center serves outpatient and impatient patients throughout the county. The medical center houses a 509 bed facility for long term patients. Psychiatric Emergency Services are offered in a 8-bed emergency setting with staff specializing in psychiatric emergencies, serving approximately 3,600 patients annually.

Ron Robinson Senior Care Center offers primary care to the elderly who do not have a primary care provider or who will benefit from the primary care of the Physicians and nurse practitioners. Most of their patients ranging from the years of 60 or older can benefit from the geriatrician, a geriatric nurse practitioner, an internist, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, and an occupational therapist. The center also offers services for the elderly who are experiencing memory loss, confusion, and, recent falls.

Daly City Youth Health Center has over 15 years experience providing services to youth and young adults of San Mateo County. Patients receive confidential services such as pregnancy testing, birth control counseling, and testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections. The Center also offers a variety of programs such as Project PLAY which offers counseling for preventing teen pregnancy. The health center also provides medical care, counseling, and, case management for those teens who are homeless or are at risk.
